Apple’s Logic Pro X allows you to level the playing field by providing high quality studio recordings for every musician.
Add taste to your sound with new pedal boxes and adjust everything with the Flex tone.
There are many take – aways and Graham does a great job of demonstrating the areas of Logic Pro X that they are unclear to find out on their own in the application.
Graham has described in detail how to use the classic B, Clav, Electric Piano and AMAZING Retro Synth.
Logic Pro X is a great musical instrument, but it can be intimidating because it has so many layers of tools that it can help users to do anything musical.
While I master or mix music in logic Pro X, I struggle with a lack of depth.
The EQ centre side is exactly what it sounds like : One control unit is the centre of the stereo image, while the other One controls the end of the stereo field.
Most orchestra mixes have a lot of phasing problems around the basic frequencies ( low and medium ), so you’ll want to narrow down the bands – otherwise your masters will sound a little lame and not have a good center.
In Ozone, I do a little more EQ ‘ing, I put the multi – band compressor to compress most of the frequencies ( it tends to soften the mixture ), and then I use the stereo imager and the limiter.
Of course, on your dedicated “bass” whims ( bass drum, movie rumble, bass section, etc. ) you’ll probably want low pass filters so they don’t compete with higher frequency instruments.
If you have ever used Ozone to analyze trade routes, you will see what I am talking about ( a good way to do this is to import a model track into logic, change its quality, check EQ, set the spectrum analyzer to seconds and see exactlywhat exactly is happening.
Keep your master bus free of any effects, bounce off your project, leave plenty of space for your head, and then open your pre – filled circuit in a dedicated mastering session.
Another trick for the snare drum is to Use a gear shift on the reverb bus and take it down like a half – pitch or two.
You can record true singers and gamers, use a wide range of software tools, use an extensive library of Apple Loops, and mix with an excellent palette of EQs, compressors, reverberations, guitar amp and stompbox simulations, etc.
Not to mention the fantastic yet updated LPX Flex sound, which allows you to change the rhythm of recorded audio in real time.
Special attention will be paid to flexible Audio, the use of plug – ins and the pros and cons of such a versatile professional music software.
Whether you’re a beginner in music production or an experienced producer, the “what is better” comparison between Digital Audio Workstations ( DAW ) is discussed in length and is often inconclusive.
Credit where credit is due : Logic has an incredible compressor, equalizer and reverb devices, and they have sometimes lured me to the “dark side” for the mixing phase of my production.
From Live solo techno acts to rock stadium bands, if there is a software on stage, you can almost certainly assume thatthere is at least one computer that canton Live.
Your main plugin will be the EQ Channel, but before you start to increase the level, think about the wise use of high – pass filters to prevent key tools from being lowered.
